İş Sanat will open the new season with the concert of the Presidential Symphony Orchestra

The 19th season of İş Sanat, which aims to unite art lovers with innovative and original projects, will open on November 8. The opening concert will be performed by the Presidential Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Anu Tali, as well as Emir Kemancı. and Gamze Erengönül, two young singers from İş Sanat’s “Shining Stars” series.

Speaking at the opening press conference, İş Sanat General Manager Zuhal Üreten said that they feel the excitement of the first day of each season and make major cultural contributions to a a number of fields, from music to visual arts and from museology to archaeological studies.

Presenting the details of the program for the new season, artistic director Defne Turaç said that they had brought together valuable local artists, world-renowned foreign artists and orchestras.

Tickets for İş Sanat concerts will be available from October 8.

New season program

Award-winning French pianist Lucas Debargue, one of the young stars of classical music, will meet the public on November 20, accompanied by the Basel Chamber Orchestra, one of the best chamber ensembles in the world.

Gabriela Montero, who has made a name for herself both through her interpretations and her ability to improvise, will be accompanied by the Scottish Ensemble, the UK’s first professional string orchestra, on 30 November. Renaud Capuçon, one of the most distinguished violinists, will play on December 14 accompanied by the Wiener Concert-Verein chamber orchestra, which marks the 30th anniversary of its creation, under the direction of Philippe Morard.

Mandolin player Avi Avital will give a concert with Cappella Gabetta on January 9. In addition, Magdalena Kozena and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment will meet art lovers on February 9 in the new season of İş Sanat. Shen-Yang, L’Arpeggiata, Celine Scheen, Garrik Ohlsson and Boston Symphony Chamber Players will meet classical music lovers.

As part of the jazz series, Istanbul music lovers can attend Sarah McKenzie’s concert on December 4 and Arturo Sandoval’s concert on February 27. , Sabri Tuluğ Tırpan, Tanini Trio, Melihat Gülses and Derya Türkan will also take the stage in the new season.
