Royal College of Music announces 2022 summer season

The Royal College of Music has announced its 2022 summer season.
For the purposes of this article, we will only focus on vocal performance.
It all starts with “The American Song”, a concert featuring the music of Ives, Amy Beach, Bolcom, Harbison, Cipullo and Musto.
Performance date: April 27, 2022
John Paul Jennings will conduct a performance of “Pierrot Lunaire” with Rebekah Jones, Rebecca Leggett and Ana Beard Fernández as soloists.
Performance date: May 13, 2022
Bill Bankes-Jones directs “Odysseys”, six mini-operas. Timothy Burke leads a cast with Richie Johnsen, Sam Norman, Eluned Davies, Alfie Coates, Michael Hughes, Jack Crowe, Tymon Zgorzelski, Olga Tokarczuk, Jennifer Croft, Liam Dougherty and Darren Sng.
Performance date: May 14 & 15, 2022
Gary Matthewman directs “Opera Scenes”. Safran van Zwanenberg is directing.
Performance date: May 20, 2022
Sir Andrew Davis conducts the RCM Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Berlioz’s “Summer Nights”. Soloists include Ava Dodd, Henna Mun and Georgia Melville.
Performance date: June 23, 2022
Jonathan Dove’s “Flight” will be directed by Michael Rosewell and directed by Jeremy Sams.
Performance date: June 28 – July 4, 2022
