The Toledo Symphony Orchestra will perform at the Sauder Village
The Toledo Symphony Orchestra (TSO) will perform “Soirees and Serenades” at Sauder Village as part of its 2022 Neighborhood Concert Series on Thursday, March 10 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.saudervillage.org, by calling 800-590-9755 or by visiting the Visitor Center office in Sauder Village.
“It’s always an incredible honor for us to welcome the TSO to Sauder Village,” said Kim Krieger, media relations manager at Sauder Village. “Once again this year, the program will delight music lovers of all ages with a wonderful mix of musical selections.”
This is the 19th year that the Black Swamp Arts Council has co-hosted this popular event with the non-profit Sauder Village. The 2022 concert is also guaranteed by the Farmers & Merchants State Bank, Archbold Furniture Co., and is supported by a donation from the Maynard & Carolyn Sauder Endowment Fund for the Toledo Symphony.

All general admission tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. The Patron Toledo Symphony Package is available for $60 per ticket. The Patron package includes the best seats in Founder’s Hall for the concert, a delicious buffet dinner at the Barn Restaurant and the gift of a general admission student ticket to give to a student in the community. Guest conductor Matthew Kraemer will lead the evening show at Sauder Village. Recognized for his musical sensitivity and his sense of energetic interpretation,
Kraemer is quickly making his mark among young American conductors for his inspired performances and versatility. He was named Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra in 2015. His active guest conducting program includes appearances with many of the nation’s top orchestras, including Atlanta, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Columbus, Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Nashville, North The Carolina, St. Louis, Spokane, Syracuse, Toledo, and Virginia Symphony Orchestras, as well as the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra, Niagara Symphony Orchestra, and the ‘Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra of Canada and Europe with the Vidin Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orquesta de Cadaqués. Originally from Indiana, Matthew is also an accomplished violinist and was a member of the Nightingale String Quartet. When he’s not playing, Kraemer enjoys cooking, running and reading.
There will be no intermission for this evening concert and the TSO recommends that guests wear masks during the performance.
