The Warrnambool Symphony Orchestra promises another spectacular Mother’s Day concert ahead of the popular annual event. This year’s concert will again take place at St Joseph’s Church in Warrnambool and will feature the orchestra, conducted by conductor Angus Christie, with Eleanor Donelan on flute, soprano Leah Oswin, baritone Craig Everingham and Georgina Ferrugia on tuba. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Lighthouse Theater or at the door. Reservations preferred. Music from 2:30 p.m. The series debuted in 2008 and was due to celebrate its 15th anniversary this month, but was forced to cancel its 2020 gig due to COVID-19.
