The tenor star is back with festive news and a timeless Christmas carol…
On the empty stage of the majestic Italian opera Teatro Regio di Parma, Andrea Bocelli sings the timeless “Adeste Fideles”, also known as “O Come All Ye Faithful”.
As the orchestra throws the brassy opening into the pit below, Bocelli stands on the big stage surrounded by dancers, with festive confetti cascading all around.
The Italian tenor smiles and the surrounding choir enters. Seemingly suspended, the dancers perform a breathtaking number around him.
“Adeste Fideles” is the original Latin name for the popular song “O Come All Ye Faithful”, and it is often the title you will see printed in Christmas carol books today.

Bocelli’s interpretation of the melody comes from his festive concert broadcast live Believe in Christmas: Again, which airs again this season following its hit last year.
The paid concert, which was broadcast worldwide, featured a beautiful new duo on Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” with the tenor’s eight-year-old daughter, Virginia Bocelli.
In this performance, Virginia can be seen staring at her father in the audience.

“It will be nice to join hands again and, along with the music, exchange a wish that can go beyond words and touch the hearts of each of you, as is my hope.”
