The concert, conducted by the famous maestro and principal conductor of the Astana Opera, Alan Buribayev, was presented in 38 European and global countries.
Mezzo is a French television channel distributed worldwide devoted to classical music, jazz and folk music.
“First of all, I was shocked by the scale of this project, it seems that organizing such a big concert probably took a huge amount of effort. The sound of the orchestra, the choir and the soloists was at the highest level. The world-renowned conductor – Alan Buribayev – is loved not only here in Europe, but everywhere today. He unleashed the enormous potential of Kazakh artists at this concert, and the Kazakhstan has certainly come closer to us,” Christian Erskin wrote on social media.
Erskin was not the only follower who appreciated the creative potential of Kazakh musicians and shared his impressions.
“This is one of my favorite Mahler symphonies. Performed by Kazakhs, it sounded special. I think the mastery of the artists and their delicate understanding of the music played a crucial role. I had a wonderful evening. I advise all those who have not yet listened to this great concert to follow the program and not to miss its next broadcast,” noted Fleur de Guise.
According to the theater administration, the Astana Opera strives to promote Kazakh opera, ballet and symphonic art to the world.
