Monster Hunter Orchestra Concert 2021 will take place online –

This year’s Monster Hunter Orchestra concert will be held online and without an audience, according to a press release regarding the event. While the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic was not explicitly mentioned in the press release, it is likely a significant factor in the decision not to include live fans. Instead, fans will be able to stream the concert online.
Is there a Monster Hunter Orchestra concert?
The first Monster Hunter Orchestra Concert took place in 2009, on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the long-running Monster Hunter series. Since 2014, there has been an annual concert to celebrate the music of the franchise. Last year’s concert was presented to a streaming audience, just like this year’s one. Conductor Hirofumi Kurita has been the conductor since the 2014 concert.
This year’s concert will focus on the music for Monster Hunter Rise, which released on Nintendo Switch earlier this year and is slated for release on PC in 2022.
The remote nature of this year’s concert will present unique viewing experiences for fans, such as the ability to get a closer look at the musicians through camera angles not possible in person. Game musicians Hideki Ishigaki and Momoka Enomoto will also perform in the show.
The concert will take place on September 28, 2021 and will be available to stream for a short time after the performance date. For more information on how to buy tickets, check out the official concert website.
