NTD’s Special Thanksgiving Program – Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra Concert

NTD Television will air a special Thanksgiving program: a concert by the Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra on the NTD East, NTD West and NTD UK channels.
The 90-minute program will air Nov. 24-25 via cable, satellite, and live (find your local channel here). The program will also be streamed via www.NTD.com, the NTD app, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Sony Smart TV and others.
Shen Yun Performing Arts was founded in New York State in 2006 with a mission to bring 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture to life through music and dance. Every year, Shen Yun produces a brand new show and tours it around the world. Millions of people have seen the Shen Yun performances and the audiences have been impressed.
Shen Yun’s entirely original compositions present a perfect harmony of classical music from East and West.
“The music they created is a great combination of traditional melodies,” said Dr. Richard Webb, organist, musicologist and professor at Southern University.
“Delicious,” said Per Brevig, conductor and professor at the Juilliard School. “They blend Chinese instruments with Western instruments so well.”
“Truly wonderful! I would be interested in playing some of this music or trying some of it myself,” said Charles Castleman, virtuoso violinist and teacher at the Eastman School of Music.
