The first show was a spectacular show in front of 30,000 people in All Together Now in 2019.

Then there were two sold-out shows at the Bord Gáis Energy Theater in March 2020.

Back by popular demand, the RTÉ Concert Orchestra will once again perform the words and music of Leonard Cohen, with two concerts at the Bord Gáis Energy Theater in Dublin on Sunday 17 and Monday 18 April 2022.

Over the two nights, an ensemble cast of Ireland’s finest singing and acting talent, offering their unique interpretations of Cohen’s work: Jack Lukeman, Phelim Drew, Suzanne Savage, Jess Kavanagh, Moncrieff, Tony Flynn, Kate O’Toole and John McKenna.

In these uncertain times, Leonard Cohen’s laconic vision of the world is needed more than ever. As the man himself says in his song Anthem:

There’s a crack, a crack in everything

This is how the light enters

Led by bandleader Gavin Maloney, the setlist will revisit classics from every period of the Canadian master’s 50-year recording career.
