The BBC will bring Tracy Beaker to life in a new Symphony Orchestra concert
Author Jacqueline Wilson will bring beloved characters like Tracy Beaker to life in concert with the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
The wonderful world of Jacqueline Wilson will take place at the Barbican for a special family concert on Saturday October 23.
The concert will transport audiences into the worlds of some of their favorite characters, from the fearless Tracy Beaker to the determined Hetty Feather and many more, with help from some of the actors who brought the characters to life on screen. for popular CBBC TV programs. .
Dani Harmer (Tracy Beaker), Emma Maggie Davies (Jess Beaker), Isabel Clifton (Hetty Feather) and Chloe Lea (Katy Carr) will perform on stage as special guests throughout the concert, reading excerpts from Wilson’s books .

This multimedia adventure will stretch the imagination with music from composers past and present performed by the BBC SO, including the theme from CBBC’s beloved The Story Of Tracy Beaker.
Jacqueline Wilson said: “I’m really delighted with the Barbican concert. I will read my favorite books (of course I will include Tracy Beaker and Hetty Feather).

CBBC will bring the concert to audiences at home on BBC iPlayer in December, hosted by CBBC’s Blue Peter’s Mwaksy.
This event will also be broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio 4.
