The National Repertory Orchestra is returning to full in-person performances at the Riverwalk Center, 150 W. Adams Ave., Breckenridge. The concert season begins on Saturday June 26 and ends on July 31.

New Music Director Michael Stern and Music Advisor Carl Topilow have formed a diverse and inspiring mix of programming that includes 71 fellows from the 2020 concert season carried over over two sessions during the festival. Highlights include violinist Midori, a recent Kennedy Center laureate. She will join the orchestra on July 9 for Bach’s iconic Concerto for two violins and on July 10 for Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto.

The program also includes eight masterpiece concerts and two popular performances, including Topilow Pops at the Riverwalk Center, as well as a plethora of free performances throughout the community. The orchestra will provide regular seating as well as physical distance reservations on request for performances at the Riverwalk Center.

Adult tickets for the 2021 National Repertory Orchestra Summer Music Festival range from $ 25 to $ 40 per person, while seasonal subscriptions are $ 200 to $ 300. Youth 17 and under are $ 5 per concert. This year, the association will be offering a limited number of family passes for $ 160.
